Wake Utah will be holding a Supra practice session Friday, June 24th, starting at 5pm, Mantua Reservoir. 15 bucks gives you the same boat, and pass that will be used in the Marine Products Bring The Ruckus Wakeboard Competition the following day. Get a feel for Supra’s huge wake, and know how much time you will have in your run. This is first come, first serve, so get there as early as you can to insure you get a practice run.
After the practice, around 8:30pm, we will start the Judging Clinic with Ryan Shimabukuro. The idea of this is to educate about the tournament judging system, and to raise the quality of judges and consistency from event to event. This will also inform riders about what the judges look for and how they score a run. Anyone interested in helping judge at any event this year, or any rider who wants an edge on the competition by being able to design the ‘perfect’ run is encouraged to attend. Plan on taking some notes so you don’t forget this priceless info.
